Beachfront inn on the Gulf of Mexico, Indian Shores
Beachfront & Property
Sunburst Inn sits directly on the Gulf of Mexico with a private beach reserved for guests. The 12-room property was recently renovated and featured on HGTV's 100 Day Dream Home: Beachfront Hotel. Guests receive complimentary beach chairs, umbrellas, and towels for sunbathing.
Rooms
All air-conditioned rooms include a seating area, refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. Some rooms offer a fully equipped kitchen and a balcony with Gulf views, such as Studio 8 with a king bed and loveseat pullout. Each room sleeps a different number of guests, with the largest accommodating up to eight people.
Leisure
Guests can borrow bicycles at no charge to explore the area or use paddle boards on the beach. The property provides BBQ facilities and outdoor spaces for socializing and dining. An on-site gift store sells beach essentials and Sunburst Inn merchandise.
Location
Indian Shores Coffee and Mahuffer's dive bar are directly across the street. Salt Rock Grill and Smuggler's Cove Adventure Golf are within a 7-minute walk. Several restaurants and waterfront bars are within walking distance, and two large grocery stores are not far.
Pet-Friendly & Family
The hotel allows dogs with a $195 fee and special accommodations, making it a home-away-from-home for pet owners. Family gatherings and small events, such as reunions and retreats, are welcome. Free on-site parking is available for one car per room.
